At 7:49 on April 14, 2010 Beijing time, a magnitude 7.1 earthquake occurred in Yushu County, Qinghai Province, China (33.1 degrees north latitude, 96.7 degrees east longitude). The earthquake area was severely damaged. As of 17:00 on the 21st, 2183 people had died in the Yushu earthquake stricken area, 9404 people were buried in the ruins, 84 people were missing, 12135 people were hospitalized, including more than 1400 seriously injured, hundreds of thousands of people were displaced... However, the disaster is far from over. Due to the interruption of traffic and communication, the specific number of casualties is still in the statistics, and the survivors waiting for rescue will face the plight of lack of clean water, shelter, food, sanitation facilities and drugs
After the earthquake, the company sent out the proposal of donating money to the earthquake stricken area to all employees on April 21, calling on everyone to lend a helping hand, offer our love, donate in time, and contribute to the rescue and reconstruction of the disaster stricken area! On April 22, under the leadership of the company‘s management cadres, the on-site charity donation activity was carried out. All staff (including many new employees) actively responded to the company‘s call and actively participated in the charity donation activity.
1、 Fundraising Overview
The donations raised totaled 56080.6 yuan, of which Mr. Liang Yongfeng, the general manager of the company, donated 40000 yuan in his own name.
